Procedure for LC/TC
Procedure for LC/TC:
LC/TC refers to Leaving Certificate/Transfer Certificate, which is a document issued by a school when a student leaves the school. Here is the procedure for obtaining LC/TC from a school:
Application: The first step is to submit an application for LC/TC to the school office. The application should include details such as the name of the student, class/section, and reason for leaving the school.
Clearance: Before issuing the LC/TC, the school will typically require the student to clear all dues, return all library books, and complete any pending assignments or projects.
Verification: The school will verify the details provided in the application, such as the student’s date of birth, academic record, and conduct.
Issuance: Once the application is processed and the clearance is obtained, the school will issue the LC/TC to the student. The document will typically include details such as the student’s name, date of birth, class/section, date of admission, date of leaving, the reason for leaving, and any other relevant information.
Signatures: The LC/TC will be signed by the school principal or authorized signatory, and may also require the signatures of the student’s class teacher or subject teacher.
Stamp and Seal: The LC/TC will be stamped and sealed by the school, indicating that it is an official document.
Handover: The school will hand over the LC/TC to the student or their parent/guardian, and also keep a copy of the document in the student’s record.
