Student Code of Conduct

Respect for Others: Students should be respectful to their teachers, fellow students, and all other school staff. This includes being polite, courteous, and using appropriate language.
 
Attendance and Punctuality: Students are expected to attend all classes and arrive on time. In case of absence, they should provide a valid reason for their absence and make up for any missed work.
 
Discipline and Behavior: Students should maintain good behavior at all times and adhere to the school’s rules and regulations. This includes refraining from bullying, harassment, discrimination, and any other form of misconduct.
 
Academic Integrity: Students should maintain academic integrity by avoiding plagiarism, cheating, or any other form of academic dishonesty.
 
Dress Code: Students are expected to follow the school’s dress code policy and wear appropriate clothing that is modest, comfortable, and suitable for the school environment.
 
Technology Use: Students should use technology responsibly, including computers, mobile devices, and the Internet. They should not engage in any inappropriate or illegal activities using technology.
 
Safety and Security: Students should take responsibility for their safety and the safety of others by avoiding any actions that may endanger themselves or others. They should also report any safety or security concerns to the appropriate authority.
 
Respect for Property: Students should respect school property and the property of others, including their personal belongings and school facilities. They should not vandalize or damage school property or the property of others.
 
Extracurricular Activities: Students are encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities and events but should maintain appropriate behavior and follow the rules and regulations set by the school.
 
Parental Involvement: Parents are encouraged to be involved in their child’s education and should work with the school to ensure their child’s success.

Consequences of Non-compliance with the code of conduct:

Verbal Warning: In less severe cases, a teacher or school administrator may give the student a verbal warning, reminding them of the school’s rules and expectations.
 
Written Warning: A written warning may be given to the student for more serious violations. The warning will typically detail the violation, the expected behavior, and the consequences of further infractions.
 
Detention: Students may be assigned detention as a consequence of their behavior. This may involve staying after school to complete school work or other tasks.
 
Suspension: In cases of serious or repeated violations, a student may be suspended from school for a period of time. During this time, they will be prohibited from attending school or participating in school-related activities.
 
Expulsion: In the most severe cases, a student may be expelled from the school. This means that they will be permanently removed from the school and not allowed to attend any school-related activities.
